Beauty and the Bitch
What is beauty?
Have you ever met someone, and were dazzled, amazed, captivated - mesmerised by their beauty, but then you stop to analyze their looks and realise you have absolutely no idea why you think they're beautiful, they just are?
Inner beauty is the special something, the soul, love, compassion, tenderness, mercy, kindness, humour and heart, the smile that is reflected of the heart within.
Bitch is the inner voice that speaks to us - your nose is too big, if only your hips were smaller you would be perfect. This is the inner voice that speaks to us from our insecurity and past experiences. I call this the 'inner bitch' and I have been in a lifelong battle to silence her.
Every man, woman and child are born with unique characteristics that set us apart from all others. We need to develop eyes that see the beauty and majesty in each and everyone of us.
Personal and Individual Style is all about working with the inherent lines, curves, colours and body shape to create HARMONY.
It takes time and loving acceptance to truely love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin and relish the wonderous being that you are. If there is one thing I have learnt along lifes pathway is that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. Unique, incredible, creative, intelligent, kind, loving amazing creatures.
